Although I have been interested in photography for many years, only in 2010 did I get my first SLR (a digital).
Sure, I've had nice "point & shoots" over the years, a Minolta, a Nikon and an Olympus.
The Oly C2100 was my first digital and I was very fortunate to have chosen a very good camera for a novice enthusiast. A good lens on a point and shoot can do great things.
Please scroll down to see more folders.
Many folders here have shots from that Olympus C2100 UZ.
I have recently begun using a Nikon D90. I hope you enjoy your visit here.

You may purchase my prints in various sizes. and finishes, if you like. They're guaranteed.
This is an easy and affordable way to decorate your home or office with unique custom fine photographs, or memorable gifts.

About
This continues the web presence reflecting the creative side of David Lyle, and Sailing The Blues photography.

Thank you for being patient while I pursue this new business activity.
Many of you have known me as accountant or sailor. Now I can offer you these images.
The Portland Head Light in Cape Elizabeth Maine is a very popular subject. I'm sure you recongnize it. This picture was taken in 1985 with a Nikon L35 AF 35mm "point & shoot".
Just up the hill from here, Jenni and I were attending a great outdoor lobster roast put on by the Jotul woodstove company.
I hope you enjoy browsing my folders, and understand this is a very preliminary "sorting" and display of my photos.

Dave, I can see the improvement in your photos every time I am privileged to see a new shoot. Too funny that we share a profession, a hobby, and a love.
